James and his team at Above Market were phenomenal to work with. I had high standards given my past experience working with engineers and designers at tech startups, and Above Market did not disappoint. James was incredibly thoughtful throughout the whole process. He gave us recommendations on ways we could improve our product, and helped us avoid going down the wrong path a few times. He and his team also finished all of the product improvements under the budget we had originally agreed upon! We will definitely be giving Above Market a call next time we need to make some changes. I had a great experience with Above Market and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Shopify expert. The store I needed built was more complex than your average e-commerce site, and Above Market worked hard to find solutions for all of my concerns. Anytime I had questions (which was often), I'd get a reply. If Above Market had other clients during the time they worked on my project, I wouldn't know - I truly felt like my project received 100% of their attention. I was very impressed by their knowledge, timeliness, and willing to "get their hands dirty." Their price was reasonable (I received a lot of quotes) but their work exceeded my expectations. After a decent bit of research into the various shopify experts capable of handling the scope of our project, we ended up going with James and his team at Above Market. Our project ended up being rather difficult, as we were transferring from a very complex system to shopify, and trying to maintain similar functionality, while improving usability and ease of care and maintenance. James was a pleasure to deal with and not only able to complete the task at hand, but provide useful feedback and advise for us along the way. Our project was completed on schedule, and has turned out better then we had hoped for. However, for us, the most important thing was the level of care and service James was able to provide. When we needed to be on the phone, he was on the phone... when we sent e-mails, his replies were prompt... when we had concerns, he made sure they were addressed asap.
