Bloom

We had an excellent experience working with the Bloom development team on the upgrade of our web platform. Our challenge was to build a new ecommerce optimized website to propel sales of McEvoy Ranch’s full product line of top-quality olive oil, food, natural beauty products, and excellent wines. We chose Shopify as the best in class ecom platform and Bloom as our club administration application to handle our fast-growing seasonal club allocations. While we evaluated many wine club-specific platforms, none had the capabilities nor continual investment in technology that Shopify offers to handle the range of features we need to fuel our high volume sales growth across product categories. With Bloom, we found the ideal solution for combining robust ecom and club administration features. The build process was challenging on several fronts due to our need to integrate with a backend inventory and fulfillment management system that has limitations on what data it can handle. Partnering with Bloom throughout the build and test process allowed us to work through the constraints, along with determining opportunities for new custom features that have already been integrated into their development cycle. With on-going customer support and periodic Zoom calls, we have continued to improve our initial build and look forward to collaborating with their team in the future!

Patrick was extremely helpful through every step of the process. He has been there to help from the planning stages, through development that he and his team worked on behind the scenes, and is always responsive to any needs that may pop up as I learn more about the platform. Bloom is very knowledgeable about Shopify as well as the wine industry. Using Shopify and their add-on Wine Club Management app for our winery has been like a breath of fresh air compared to older, stagnant platforms. If you are looking for something that's intuitive, this is the way to go. Especially nice for smaller wineries. Bloom also creates a very detailed cost analysis for you so that there are truly no surprises. I've enjoyed working with them and look forward to a continued relationship. I highly recommend them.
