Over the past 6 months we have been working successfully with CAKE on the development of our new website as well as digital marketing support to launch our brand online. It has been a very exciting journey and the team at CAKE have been a tremendous support. CAKE’s expertise and strategic advice has been paramount to our successful journey to date. When launching a new online store it can be quite challenging with many moving parts and also unforeseen challenges. The team were able to support us with all the challenges we faced and ensured these didn’t affect our launch and our trading forecast for the year. Buying a website and taking on a strategic partner is not something we do every day or lightly. We were upgrading from another platform and moving away from a previous partnership that had faded. We decided to consider an agency as opposed to simply a website developer. Rather than a website as an entity in itself the team at DC saw the website as part of a much bigger customer journey to include paid-for ads, social media and CRM. So we signed up for a new website as well as on-going marketing support. It is a good decision. A key goal is to deliver the website to budget and on time. We do have some customisations that are not standard and these were addressed along with the project and we launched the site on time. By way of comparison - our previous website was a year late. The net result has been a period of monthly double and treble digit growth. We now look upon them as a natural extension of our team, bringing specialist expertise in both marketing and website development. We expect this to continue for the foreseeable future.

We worked with DC for well over 12 months on small website improvements, which were all implemented brilliantly. We then worked with DC to scope out a full new website built specifically to the criteria and needs of 304. Detailed scoping sessions & brand workshops were completed prior to getting started on the website it self. The website build was extremely good, the final outcome was even better. We are over the moon with our new website and the feedback from customers has been incredible. DC went out their way to make recommendations on what they know from experience will work.
