This was our 2nd time using Mote. The first time was in 2018. We had a kick-off call and Sara and her team clearly set expectations for design, development, testing, iterations etc. We had a target completion date and a target launch date. Mote hit our timelines and the end result is a beautiful website that we intend to use for many years ahead. Other design shops that we spoke with were very linear in thinking and lacked the emotional depth that we were looking to convey. Sara and her team are part creative and part technical. TLDR: Mote is an incredibly insightful, creatively talented, and fairly priced agency, especially skilled in working with small businesses. When starting my small clothing business four years ago, I spoke with many vendors/creatives/agencies across channels from web design to product development to packaging...and none were as immediately exciting as my original conversation with Mote. Sara was instantly impassioned by our concept and, in our first call, was offering creative solutions regarding web design and insider insights from her years working on consumer UX design. Her and Rembrandt's mock-ups, execution, and user guides are top-notch (i.e. interactive, photo and video, and via a phone call, if you need). And any time we've wanted a feature or function added to the site, they've made it happen--as recently as this week, in kind, four years from launch.
