The Chicago Web Co. is a racist company. I had a deeply disappointing experience working with The Chicago Web Co., despite being drawn in by their positive reviews. After signing a contract for a $2,500 website project, communication quickly deteriorated. Once payment was made and the agreement finalized, the team became unresponsive, failing to follow through on key deliverables outlined in the contract. The website delivered was incomplete, not SEO-ready, and lacked the polish, user targeting, and design quality promised. The final product did not reflect the investment made — it felt rushed, basic, and failed to consider my brand or audience. As a minority-owned business owner, I also could not shake the feeling that my concerns were dismissed and that I was not treated with the same level of respect or attention as other clients. Despite multiple attempts to address the issues professionally, I received no cooperation or willingness to resolve the situation. I would strongly caution others — especially minority or small business owners — to reconsider before working with this company. This experience has been both frustrating and disheartening, and I hope this review prevents others from facing similar challenges.
