I'm Phil, a senior Shopify developer with over five years building and refining storefronts for ecommerce brands. My core stack is JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep expertise in Liquid and Online Store 2.0 theme development, from fully custom builds to extending and modernising existing themes.

Alongside theme work, I specialise in performance and conversion optimisation: cutting load times, improving Core Web Vitals and making data-informed UX changes that lift conversion rates. I work regularly with the wider Shopify ecosystem, including Klaviyo, Recharge and Rebuy, integrating, customising and troubleshooting them as part of larger builds.

I work in small, reversible steps: build and review on a development theme, preserve existing customisations, and publish only after sign-off. I'm comfortable owning a project end to end or providing senior cover inside an existing team.
