A creative studio with offices in several cities uses Shopify to present its work and welcome inquiries in English and French.
Potential clients, journalists, suppliers and other visitors who need to reach the right person at the studio.
The Challenge
Make it easier for visitors to explain what they need and for the right team to receive the details. Bring project, media, supplier and general inquiries into one bilingual contact experience.
The old form asked everyone the same questions and did not route messages by department. The studio also needed better spam protection and a way for prospective clients to attach a project brief.
Solution
I rebuilt the contact experience around the reason for getting in touch. Visitors choose an inquiry type, see relevant questions and can attach a brief for a project inquiry. Submissions go to the configured department, with a record kept in Shopify. The content team can update recipients and the thank-you message without editing code.
Relevant questions for each inquiry type. Department routing so teams receive the messages intended for them. Project brief attachments. English and French throughout, including newsletter language preferences. Layered spam checks and a clear confirmation after sending.
Result
The form launched in both languages in August 2026. The studio now has one contact page with distinct paths for different inquiries, department-specific delivery and submission records in Shopify. I refined the questions and wording with the content team.
