Lanoguard is a UK rust-protection brand scaling DIY sales alongside a nationwide network of application centres.
DIY vehicle owners, plus customers who prefer professional application through independent garages and detailers.
The Challenge
Give the marketing team a store it can run without developer bottlenecks, then extend Shopify for B2B partners and continuous testing.
Rigid customisations and poor code practices meant a developer was needed for even small merchandising changes; checkout relied on legacy script workarounds; partner coordination with application centres was manual.
Solution
We migrated Lanoguard to a Shopify 2.0 architecture with maintainable sections and a clear development standard. The partnership then grew into a testing programme with Shoplift, an Application Centres finder built on Google Maps and metaobjects, a Gadget-built B2B hub, checkout UI extensions and Shopify Functions.
Self-serve OS 2.0 sections; nationwide Application Centres map; B2B hub where partners edit listings, log jobs and receive enquiries; checkout UI extensions and Functions for wholesale; internationalisation and SEO foundations.

Result
Lanoguard runs on a foundation its team updates independently, with oContis as ongoing development partner. Winning tests reached up to 17.2% more conversions and 13.4% revenue per visitor. Application Centres became the highest-traffic page in Search Console, with an estimated £1M+ attributed revenue since launch.
