Apparatus is a new york based interdisciplinary design studio that explores the relationship of lighting, furniture and objects in their environments. predicated on the modernist principle of gesamtkunstwerk, or total work of art, fully articulated collections reveal individual pieces as artifacts of a holistic world - each referencing the historical and cultural mood summoned by a singular vision.

The Challenge

Develop Apparatus Studio's new website end-to-end — from homepage to product, collection, contact, search, and custom pages — following strict brand guidelines (provided by the Apparatus team) to deliver a digital experience that reflects the studio's position as a world-class luxury design house. We built pages, product accordions, modals, new sections, navigation, footer, etc.

Solution

Built a fully custom Shopify theme from the ground up, translating Apparatus Studio's precise design language into a seamless digital experience. Every detail — typography, spacing, motion, and interaction — was crafted to mirror the brand's high-end aesthetic across all pages, including a dynamic collection browser, immersive product pages, and a refined search experience.
