A wellness brand needed a subscription-first experience using Recharge, but their existing setup created edge cases: discounts didn’t apply consistently (first order only), selling plans were difficult to update, and cart behavior differed across devices. We redesigned the subscription UX on PDP and cart (clear plan selection, benefits, cadence control, and reassurance content), then rebuilt the implementation to be reliable and maintainable. Redesign and rebuilt Recharge customer portal. We coordinated Recharge configuration with theme logic, ensured correct event tracking, and validated checkout behavior across multiple scenarios (one-time + subscription, discount stacking rules, region-specific settings).
Results: Drastic decrease in the number of subscription-related support tickets, smoother checkout completion for subscription orders, higher retention, and a subscription funnel the brand could confidently scale with campaigns.
