Project Overview

Freshlabels, a popular retailer known for sophisticated, sustainable fashion, partnered with Digismoothie to launch a pilot online store for the Netherlands on Shopify. The primary objective was to test the platform's capabilities while migrating the Dutch storefront, ensuring seamless integration with existing internal systems and minimal disruption to company processes.

1. The Challenge

The core challenge was to implement a new technology stack for a specific market without disrupting the company's broader ecosystem. Key hurdles included:

• Minimal Operational Impact: The migration needed to occur with the least possible interference with existing internal processes and daily operations.

• Design Consistency: The new Shopify storefront had to exactly match the visual identity and UX of the existing e-shop, which was built on a completely different technology stack.

• System Adaptation: Adapting Shopify to fit into Freshlabels' established operational workflows rather than forcing the company to change its processes for the platform.

Digismoothie delivered a custom Shopify solution that served as a seamless extension of the brand's existing infrastructure.
