From Wix to Shopify: Scaling Richard & Sons Design

What Changed

Richard & Sons Designs had outgrown Wix. Their growing catalog of custom solid wood furniture — dining tables, chairs, bedroom pieces, and storage — needed a platform that could handle complex product variants, multiple size configurations, and dozens of stain and upholstery options. We migrated the entire store to Shopify, rebuilding the catalog structure, navigation, and brand experience from the ground up.

The Wix site struggled to support the depth of customization Richard & Sons offered. Product variants were limited, the shopping experience didn't reflect the premium quality of the furniture, and the platform couldn't scale with the business. SEO equity, product data, and customer trust all had to be carefully preserved through the transition.
