Palo Alto Shopify Theme Help: Presidio Setup, Sections and Code

Palo Alto, Broadcast and Modular work for hire
Presidio is direct about what its support won't touch. Each item below sits on that list.
Custom Liquid and new features. Presidio doesn't offer custom coding and refers custom features and Liquid changes to outside experts. A new section on Palo Alto or a reworked product template is custom theme work.
Theme-versus-app clashes. Conflicts between apps and the theme are outside Presidio's scope, and app issues go to the app's developer. Someone has to work out which side broke the page.
Bugs on an edited theme. Presidio fixes bugs only in a fresh, unmodified copy. Once your theme carries code changes, reproducing and fixing a bug falls to you or your developer.
Performance tuning. Speed work is referred out too. Palo Alto's product videos, hotspots and countdown timers add weight on busy pages, so speed specialists measure first and trim second.
Redesigns on a Presidio base. Reshaping a preset such as Skylight or Relay around your own brand is redesign work Presidio sends elsewhere.
Settings questions stay free. Built-in features, settings and configuration guidance are what Presidio's support is for. Start there.
Choosing a developer for a Presidio theme
Because Presidio routes custom work outward, the developer you hire owns that code from then on. Choose with that in mind.
Ask how they'd prove a bug belongs to the theme. The right answer is to reproduce it on a fresh, unmodified copy, since that is the only case Presidio will fix.
Ask how they isolate app conflicts. Expect a duplicate theme, apps switched off one at a time, and a written note of which app or edit caused the break.
Ask which Presidio theme they've worked in. Broadcast, Palo Alto and Modular are different themes; Relay is a Broadcast preset and Kiln a Modular one. Experience in one doesn't carry over automatically.
Ask for a speed baseline. Before any performance work, they should record current numbers on the templates that matter and agree what will change.
Bad signs on a Presidio job. Editing the live theme. Asking for your staff login instead of collaborator access. Promising speed gains before measuring anything.
A low-risk first ticket. One custom feature built on an unpublished theme, shared through a preview link, with a list of the files that changed.

Presidio themes FAQ: Palo Alto, Broadcast and support
No. Presidio's support policy says it doesn't offer custom-coding services. Custom features, Liquid changes, performance tuning and redesigns are referred to vetted outside experts, while its support team handles settings, configuration guidance and bugs in an unmodified copy of the theme.
Presidio. The Theme Store lists Broadcast under a separate designer page, but that page credits Presidio, and Broadcast's documentation and support sit on Presidio's site. As of October 2026 it costs $420, with Relay, Airwave, Motif and Stellar as presets.
Within 48 hours, Monday to Friday, in the order tickets arrive, holidays excluded. Include your theme version, your myshopify.com store URL, a collaborator code and a preview link for an unpublished theme, or the ticket stalls while they ask for them.
Not for setup. Presidio's docs and support cover built-in features and settings. You need a developer for custom code, a bug that only appears on your edited theme, an app conflict or speed work, all of which Presidio's support leaves out.
Scope sets the price. A single custom section is a small, contained job, while redesigning a preset or tuning speed on a feature-heavy theme takes longer. The theme customization cost guide breaks down what moves the number.
