Shopify speed and ad tracking fixes: for stores where the ads bring visitors but not sales I help Shopify stores sell more to the visitors you already pay to bring in. I find the spots where shoppers give up, and then I fix them. One example. A clothing brand's product pages took 15.4 seconds to load. Five weeks before Black Friday, I got them to 7.4 seconds. That is the job: I find what slows your store down, and I fix it. The same work keeps finding a second problem: numbers you cannot trust. The code that tells Meta or Google about a sale fires twice, so sales count double. Ads run across every product, with no check on which ones earn. Apps bill every month for work nobody has measured. So I also check what your money is really doing, instead of trusting what Google, Meta and the apps say. Then I fix what I find. I work with established stores run by their founders. To me, speed and ad spend are sales problems, not technical boxes to tick. What I work on, eight ways in: Speed check. I measure how fast your pages load for real shoppers on a phone. I find what makes them wait, and I fix it. Accessibility check. I test your store the way a keyboard user or a screen reader meets it. I check whether a widget sits on top of problems it does not fix. You get the findings in the order a complaint would reach them. Shopify deadline check. Shopify changes its rules on set dates. Scripts ended on 30 June. Order status script tags ended on 26 August. I find what has already stopped working on your store and what is dated ahead, and I make the repairs. Tracking and attribution fix. Meta Pixel, GA4 (Google Analytics) and server-side tracking. I remove the double counting and prove it in your own dashboards. Ad spend by product and the app bill get read in the same pass. Google and Meta recovery. Your products stopped showing on Google or Meta. I find where the connection broke and get them showing again. Sale price check. AI shopping tools, like ChatGPT, now get your "was" prices from Shopify. I check that yours reach them right. Builds and theme upgrades. New sections and modern themes, with your custom work and your tracking still running. Every change to the live site has a way back. Partner Seat. 25 hours a month. I watch speed, the pages customers see, broken links, tracking and app bills. Your work goes first in the queue. Each check is $285. If you go ahead, I take the fee off the fix price. Key results: Product page load time cut from 15.4 seconds to 7.4 seconds, 52% faster. Mobile PageSpeed on product pages from 18 to 28. The apps the client chose stayed in place, at their call. Two apps were billing to track what the store's own Google channel already did. I removed them, checked the tracking was clean, and took $199 a year off the app bill. Repeat clients going back to 2018. One store has come back for 14 projects over four years. How I work: A paid check first. It measures the real problem, no guessing. If you go ahead, I take the fee off the fix price. Work in stages. You approve each one. Every delivery ends with before and after numbers, and a short list of the next things I found. 80+ projects done. Clients in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and Denmark. Send me your store address. I will tell you what slows it down, whether your numbers add up, and what a complaint would find first. No commitment.

What SparkLayer Shopify experts build for wholesale
A wholesale channel fails in boring ways. A trade buyer sees retail prices because their account was never given a price list. A rep places an order nobody in the warehouse can find. A good SparkLayer expert sorts the data first and only then touches the storefront.
Pricing and ordering rules. SparkLayer handles unlimited customer-specific price lists plus tier and volume rules, and it attaches pack sizes and ordering rules to products by SKU. So SKU hygiene comes first: a blank or duplicated SKU can break the link between a product and its trade terms.
Trade sign-up. Building the registration form, setting the approval workflow, and importing existing wholesale accounts with the right price list attached from day one.
Reps and quotes. Configuring the sales rep portal so reps can order for their accounts and manage them, and setting up the quoting engine so a negotiated quote turns into an order without retyping.
Theme fit. SparkLayer works on Online Store 2.0 themes and with both versions of Shopify customer accounts. Experts style its widgets so trade buyers don't feel they've landed on another site.
Back-office sync. Pushing price lists, customers and orders from an ERP or integration platform through SparkLayer's REST API, or connecting one of the accounting and inventory systems named on its App Store page.
The native B2B call. Part of this work is advising against SparkLayer, or moving a store between SparkLayer and Shopify's built-in B2B. Since Shopify opened core B2B features to more plans in April 2026, that conversation belongs at the start of every SparkLayer project.
Picking a SparkLayer B2B specialist
With seven to choose from, read each profile properly. Six are freelancers and one is an agency, which suits a defined setup with a clear finish line. If you want someone on call once reps and buyers order every day, check which profiles list technical support.
Ask about native B2B first. A good specialist asks about your Shopify plan and your trade terms before recommending anything. If they can't explain where SparkLayer beats Shopify's built-in B2B for your case, and where it doesn't, keep looking.
Check the SparkLayer plan they're designing for. API access sits on the Pro and Enterprise plans, and quoting is an add-on below Pro. An ERP sync scoped on a lower plan is a red flag.
Ask about referrals. SparkLayer's partner programme covers agencies and technology partners and pays referral commission on paid plans. That's normal. It's still fair to ask whether the person advising you earns from the recommendation.
Ask who tests the buyer journey. Login, price list, pack-size rules, checkout or quote, then the order in your admin. Someone should walk it as a real trade customer before launch, not just check settings.
Start small. A paid first task works well here: one price list, one trade account and one test order from login to the Shopify admin. You see how they work before the full import.
SparkLayer app details that shape a wholesale build
It sits beside native B2B, not inside it. SparkLayer doesn't read or write Shopify's Company, Company Location or Catalog records, though it does link each draft order to the customer's Shopify company and location. The two can't run side by side for the same customer session, and pricing and payment rules don't sync both ways. Pick one per buyer journey.
One company per buyer. If a customer is linked to more than one Shopify company, SparkLayer won't place the draft order against a company. An expert cleans up those links before launch.
Saved cards need Shopify Payments. Vaulted-card payments only work with Shopify Payments switched on and the customer linked to a Shopify company.
Native B2B moved in April 2026. Since 2 April 2026, Basic, Grow and Advanced plans get company profiles, up to 3 active B2B catalogues, payment terms, volume pricing and vaulted cards. Unlimited catalogues, direct catalogue assignment to companies, partial payments and deposits stay on Plus. Contextual checkout and storefront customisation through Shopify Markets need Advanced or Plus. Advice that says "B2B needs Plus" is out of date, and it changes the SparkLayer decision.
Plan caps. The free Basic plan stops at 5 orders a month, which is enough for a pilot and nothing more. Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial, and API access needs Pro or Enterprise.
Where these 7 SparkLayer profiles focus
Store setup leads the categories these experts list, which fits the job: most SparkLayer work is configuration, data and testing rather than custom code.
Store setup and management
The biggest group, on 6 SparkLayer profiles: price lists, trade sign-up and account imports
Shopify development
On 4 profiles, the people to ask about API sync and draft-order routing

Also on 4, useful once reps and buyers order every day
Design, UX and branding

Three again, worth asking about if you plan to promote the trade channel
Languages
All 7 work in English; 2 also list Spanish, and German, Macedonian and Serbian appear once each
SparkLayer B2B questions from wholesale sellers
No. SparkLayer works across Shopify plans, so a Basic or Grow store can sell wholesale through it without upgrading. The April 2026 change to Shopify's own B2B narrowed the gap below Plus, so the plan question is now about which feature set you need, not whether wholesale is possible at all.
That's by design. SparkLayer creates B2B orders as Shopify draft orders, and they can be set to complete automatically. Decide which you want before launch: auto-completing suits card payments, while orders on payment terms often need someone to check stock or credit first. Agree the rule with your expert before the first trade order arrives.
Only for a reason you can name. SparkLayer adds a sales rep portal, a quoting engine (an add-on below its Pro plan) and unlimited customer-specific price lists, and it works on any Shopify plan. Built-in B2B outside Plus caps you at 3 active catalogues, but it keeps everything in Shopify's own records. The two can't serve the same customer session, so plan how each trade account moves across.
Yes, that's the point of the app. It overlays the trade experience on your existing theme instead of running a separate wholesale site. Logged-in trade buyers see their prices and ordering rules; everyone else sees the normal store. Ask your expert to test both journeys on mobile before launch.
Start with a clean SKU list, because SparkLayer attaches prices, pack sizes and ordering rules to products by SKU. Then import accounts with their price list assigned, link each one to a single Shopify company if you use companies, and invite a small group to order before you open it to everyone.
