We used InsCoder to do a couple of customizations on our website to add more functionality and fix some bugs that were created after few years of running an aging theme and too many plugins/quick tweaks. They have a great system for keeping on top of work. I have worked with a few freelancers and one small agency before for shopify work, none have been as thorough as InsCoder. They will make you think about your full job requirement BEFORE even quoting you for the job and create a timeline for you that you can see live development progress on. Places that need your input can be provided easily and simultaneously across multiple different parts of the job without getting lost in email chains. AND, they work fast. As a result, you get exactly what you had in your mind, even if you weren't able to put it into words clearly when you first reach out to InsCoder. They do have some limitations but that is more to do with Shopify limitations than their own ability - some functionality just cannot work without a shopify plus sub. Price is more than a normal freelancer or a small local shop, but this is more than made up for in the work quality and reliability of the code.
