NAPPS App Help for Shopify: Native Apps, Drops and Push

The NAPPS app turns a Shopify store into native iOS and Android apps built in a no-code, drag-and-drop editor. It carries the Built for Shopify badge, adds Drops, lookbooks and shoppable video, and includes unlimited push on every plan. As of October 2026, paid plans run from $299 to $999 a month, and NAPPS's App Store page lists each tier's Drop and video allowance. Merchants bring in outside help for launch planning: developer accounts, a Drop calendar, app-only offers that don't undercut the website, and loyalty or review data that shows correctly inside the app. When no profile below fits, the app integration and UX/UI design specialists linked at the end of this page take on NAPPS work as well.

Shopify experts for NAPPS

NAPPS work that benefits from a specialist

NAPPS helps with your first layout and offers onboarding, so outside experts matter most where strategy and store data meet.

Drop planning. Business includes 1 Drop and Scale 3. Choosing which launches go app-first, and how the website explains it, decides whether Drops build a following or frustrate web shoppers.

Exclusive promos. NAPPS supports exclusive products and promos, plus campaigns limited to one country. Pricing them without undercutting the website is a conversion and margin question.

Developer account setup. Apps can launch under your Apple and Google accounts or under NAPPS's. Opening your own and inviting NAPPS as an admin takes some paperwork.

Loyalty and reviews in the app. The listing names Smile.io, LoyaltyLion, Growave, Yotpo, Judge.me and Stamped. Customers can earn points and redeem rewards in the app, which an integration specialist should test end to end.

Video and lookbooks. Scale allows 20 shoppable videos and 10 lookbooks, plus product stories. Someone has to produce, tag and place that content.

Push beside email. Klaviyo and Ometria are listed integrations, and Scale adds segmented notifications. Plan sends with your email marketing team.

Where NAPPS's team is enough. Scale includes a dedicated success manager and Enterprise an implementation specialist. A single-market store on Business may need nobody else.

Vetting help for a NAPPS launch

You may hire a general mobile app or integration specialist rather than a NAPPS veteran, so test whether they have done their homework on this builder.

Account route. Ask whether they would launch under your developer accounts or NAPPS's. A good answer explains the trade-off: with your own, you keep your downloads if you change providers.

Drop allowance. Ask which of your launches deserve one of the Drops your plan includes, and how they would announce it by push and email.

Country setup. Multi-currency and Shopify Markets work on every plan, but per-market layouts need Enterprise. Ask whether your markets need different designs or only different prices.

Integration gaps. NAPPS lists 35 integrations and marks Recharge and Rebuy as coming soon. If your store depends on either, ask what the plan is before you commit.

Where to push back. Custom work quoted before the standard blocks are tried. Download promises. App-only discounts planned with no view on website margins.

Use the free window. NAPPS lets you test everything before choosing a plan. Pay the specialist to build your home screen and one Drop page in that window.

NAPPS plans, accounts and launch rules

Free until launch. The free plan is described as try until you launch, with help on your first layout.

Tier by tier. As of October 2026, Business ($299 a month) brings unlimited blocks, standard integrations, scheduled notifications and homes, 5 product page layouts, 1 Drop and 3 lookbooks. Scale ($499) adds a success manager, premium integrations, 3 Drops, 10 lookbooks, 20 shoppable videos and segmented notifications. Enterprise ($999) adds custom features, design and integrations and up to 5 designs per market. Annual billing saves 10%.

Push is uncapped. Every plan includes unlimited notifications, with no per-notification charge.

Two publishing routes. Your own accounts cost $99 a year at Apple, varying by region, and $25 once at Google. NAPPS needs admin access to submit for you.

Timing. NAPPS says many merchants are live in under two weeks, with account setup and store review setting the pace.

Contract terms. No contract and no setup fee on standard plans, billed through Shopify. Custom work is quoted and invoiced separately.

NAPPS app questions: plans, accounts and Drops

What will the NAPPS app cost per month?

It is free until you launch. As of October 2026, Business is $299 a month or $3,240 a year, Scale $499 or $5,400, and Enterprise $999 or $10,800. NAPPS charges no setup fee on standard plans and bills through Shopify. Developer account fees and any specialist's work come on top.

Should the app launch under my developer accounts or NAPPS's?

Either works. NAPPS's FAQ says launching on your own Apple and Google accounts means you keep your downloads if you change providers, at $99 a year for Apple and $25 once for Google. You then invite NAPPS as an admin. If you might switch builders one day, use your own.

What are NAPPS Drops?

NAPPS lists Drops as collection and product launchers inside the app. Business includes one and Scale three. Use them for launches your most engaged customers care about, give app users first access, and tell web shoppers when the collection opens to everyone.

Does NAPPS work with Shopify Markets?

Yes. Multi-currency and Shopify Markets are supported on every plan, and the listing is available in eight languages. Different layouts per market need Enterprise, which allows up to five designs per market. One layout with localized prices is a sensible place to start.

How long until a NAPPS app is live?

NAPPS says many merchants are live in under two weeks. The pace depends mostly on setting up developer accounts and on app store review, so open the Apple and Google accounts before design work starts. A specialist can run the account paperwork while the screens are built.
