I have over five years of experience in web development using technologies such as Shopify, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, React, Vue, MongoDB, MySQL, and PHP. My journey with Shopify started when I joined Hey Carson, now known as 'Shop Experts', successfully completing their trial period. I have gained significant experience in Shopify development. I've worked in complex tasks such as integrating Shopify apps, Shopify Admin API, custom design development, apps extensions development, theme development and much more. Over the past few years, I've acquired what I believe is a solid understanding of Shopify development, which helps me deliver high-quality solutions to the clients I've worked with.

Shopify SEO and AEO Consultant–Let's get you found. I built my own Shopify store, The Kind Pet, to $50K in its first year organically with zero ad spend. That's the same structure I build for other stores: collections mapped to how people actually search, content that answers the question before they're asked, and a site that both Google and AI search engines can actually read. After 8+ years working in eCommerce (including building Shopify stores and helping brands double their traffic while growing organic revenue to 30–50% through SEO and conversion strategies), I made the move fully into Shopify growth consulting. What I work on: Site and navigation architecture by user intent Commercial keyword research paired with the collection build-out FAQ and AEO structure–mapped and marked up as schema Internal linking maps built for faster indexing Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals Backlinking SEO Content Marketing Conversion Rate Optimization Recent results: Skincare brand achieving $20K in Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales from organic sales Client organic revenue up 255% in one month, and a separate client up 104% in three months, following collection and keyword restructuring Repeat clients who return project after project once the structure is in place Types of clients: Small to medium-sized merchants Beauty, apparel, hardware, pets, etc. 2-6 year client lifetime–we strive for long-term partnerships Canadian merchants: I charge the same in USD and CAD, so you'll never have to pay for conversion.

Logging in from Austin, TX, I'm a seasoned eCommerce and Conversion Rate Optimization(CRO) expert with over 20 years of experience in the online space, with 12 of those years in ecommerce, helping brands scale and maximize profitability. Underground theme jobs that fall outside support
Underground draws a clear line around what its support team will touch. Almost everything on the other side of that line is work for a developer.
Moving edits to a new version. Updates are free for Theme Store buyers, but code modifications made in one version are not present in the next. App snippets don't carry over either, so some apps need reinstalling after the update.
Getting off a legacy version. Full support covers Online Store 2.0 versions only, such as Testament 8.0.0 and later. Testament is now at 15.5.0, released October 1, 2026, so a store on an old release has many versions to catch up on.
Re-entering old settings. On pre-2.0 themes, theme editor settings don't transfer. Someone compares the old and new versions side by side and rebuilds them by hand.
New sections. Layouts the theme doesn't offer, built in Liquid to match Fashionopolism, Drop or Icon, with settings your team can edit.
App wiring. Underground's support won't install or remove third-party apps. Placing review, upsell or subscription widgets, and clearing out code left by removed apps, is developer work.
Food and quick-order setups. Foodie includes a quick order list, in-store pickup, pre-order and ingredients information, and version 6.3.0 added a quick order section for variants. Configure them once, properly.
Tiny tweaks on a clean install. Underground sells its own modification service, with small tasks from $49.99 through a quote form. For a one-off change, that route is simpler.
Picking someone to edit a We Are Underground theme
Underground's support terms spell out what an outside developer has to own. Use them to test candidates.
What happens at my next update? A good answer: edits live in separate sections and snippets, logged file by file, because the studio says modifications won't appear in the new version.
Will you keep an unmodified copy? Underground's support asks merchants to revert all modifications before it troubleshoots. A developer who keeps a clean duplicate lets you open a ticket without undoing paid work.
Which version am I on? Someone who checks for a legacy version before quoting understands where support stops. Someone who doesn't ask will find out halfway through the job.
Which of the eight have you built on? Testament, Fashionopolism and Foodie are set up for different catalogs. Experience with yours shortens the brief.
Theme answers that should worry you. "Updates will keep everything." Plans to edit the published theme. A quote with no list of files to be changed.
A first paid job. One modification on a duplicate theme, returned with a preview link and a note of every file touched. Theme customization experts handle edits at this scale, and store redesign experts take on a full rebuild.
Underground support hours, versions and update rules
Email only, UK office hours. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm GMT, by email, and asks for up to 48 hours to reply. Follow-up emails reset your place in the queue, so send one complete message.
Clean installs only. The team fixes bugs on unaltered themes and answers questions about features and settings. Broken code from a modification or an app install is excluded.
Where legacy starts. Free support applies to non-legacy versions built on Online Store 2.0. Older versions get bug and usage questions only.
Which settings survive an update. On 2.0 themes, theme editor customizations carry over, but only if neither you nor an app changed the code.
Room for duplicates. Basic, Grow and Advanced plans hold up to 20 themes in the library, and Shopify Plus up to 100, enough for a clean copy, a work copy and the live theme.
Languages and Plus features. Testament ships with English, French, Italian, German and Spanish translations. Its combined listings feature is marked Shopify Plus only.

Testament theme Shopify FAQ and other Underground theme questions
As of October 2026 the Theme Store lists Forge at $100, Foodie and Vantage at $150, Mr Parker at $160, Drop at $180, Fashionopolism at $200, and Testament and Icon at $250. Foodie's listing describes a one-time license. Updates to newer versions are free for Theme Store buyers. Developer time is extra; our customization cost guide shows typical ranges.
The same as for every Underground theme: questions about features and settings, help setting up included features, and bug fixes on clean installs. It doesn't cover code changes, instructions for making them, third-party apps, or debugging after a modification. For any of those, you need a developer or the studio's paid service.
Partly. Theme editor settings come across on Online Store 2.0 versions when the code is untouched. Code modifications don't move to the new version, and app snippets may need the app reinstalled. Run the update on a duplicate, re-apply edits from a written log, then publish.
For one small change on a clean install, the studio's service is the direct route, with small tasks from $49.99. For ongoing work, several stores, or theme edits mixed with app and speed fixes, an independent developer who stays with your store is usually the better fit.
The theme and version number, whether it's an Online Store 2.0 version, a preview link, your installed apps and any record of past edits. Say whether you plan to update soon, because that changes how new edits should be built.
