In October 2026 the directory holds 13 Shopify experts in Poland: 8 agencies and 5 freelancers in Warsaw, Kraków, Rzeszów and Poznań. Twelve offer store setup, ten list Shopify development, and eight each list marketing and consulting. All 13 work in English and ten in Polish.
Design and copywriting are the thin spots, with just three designers and one copywriter on the local list. The Polish profiles come first below; shortlist two or three and ask each for a quote against the same brief.

I fix wholesale operations for coffee roasters and CPG brands on Shopify. Most wholesale runs on customer tags, spreadsheets and email reorders until it stops scaling. I set up proper company accounts with per-account pricing that applies automatically at checkout, real net terms, and a reorder flow your accounts use themselves, so your team stops hand-entering orders. Recent work: a Philadelphia-area coffee roaster moved ~40 wholesale accounts onto company pricing, with automated wholesale-versus-retail delivery rules at checkout. Another roaster runs 240+ wholesale accounts through the system we built. Typical engagement is a wholesale setup on your existing store, then ongoing support as your wholesale grows. I'm not the right fit for one-off theme work or open-ended custom builds.

I help Shopify & DTC brands fix unit economics, cashflow, and operational complexity - especially when scaling into the EU & UK. I’m an EU-based founder and operator with hands-on experience building and scaling a physical-product brand across 30+ countries via Shopify Plus and Amazon. I co-founded BrainGain, a home fitness brand that grew from a garage startup into an 8-figure, multi-market business serving 100,000+ customers. My experience spans the unglamorous but critical parts of scale: unit economics, pricing & VAT, sourcing, 3PLs, cross-border fulfilment, working capital, and marketplace vs DTC trade-offs. Today, I advise Shopify brands - particularly US-based founders expanding into Europe - on how to grow profitably, not just quickly. Most clients come to me when revenue is growing but margins, cashflow, or ops are breaking underneath the surface. My approach is practical and experience-led, focused on clarity, focus, and execution - helping founders double down on what works and avoid the distractions that quietly destroy margin.
Freedom Finance is a boutique fractional CFO and accounting firm built exclusively for ecommerce brands. We work with founders who have outgrown basic bookkeeping and need real financial clarity to scale profitably. We help ecommerce teams: Understand true profitability by product, channel, and offer Manage cash flow and inventory without surprises Build and maintain forecasts and 13-week cash flow models Improve gross margin, contribution margin, and ad efficiency Prepare clean, investor-ready financials We primarily support Shopify brands in the $1M–$50M+ range across DTC, subscription, and omnichannel ecommerce. Engagements are fixed-price and hands-on, with CFO-level ownership — not outsourced bookkeeping. If you’re looking for a financial partner who understands how ecommerce actually works, we’d love to help.
Shopify developer with 8 years of hands-on experience building, migrating, and maintaining stores across industries including beauty, logistics, and lifestyle brands. I work with agencies and private clients, handling everything from quick fixes to full rebuilds. ShopiCraft | A Boutique Agency, Founded by a Former Shopify Employee I'm Daniel, and together with my co-founder Daulet, we run ShopiCraft — a boutique Shopify agency focused on solving the technical problems other developers won't touch. I spent years inside Shopify before going independent. Daulet brings 10 years of full-stack development experience from one of Europe's leading energy firms. Together, we help merchants turn their Shopify stores from basic storefronts into reliable revenue machines. We specialize in the technical work that sits between "good enough" and "actually scalable" — the custom apps, integrations, and automations that make your store work the way your business actually needs it to. What We Do: Custom App Development: Bespoke Shopify apps (public and private) built to solve specific workflow problems your business has outgrown. API Integrations: Complex third-party connections, ERP syncs, warehouse management systems, and custom data flows that need to just work. Store Builds & Redesigns: Full theme development, migrations, and rebuilds for brands ready to level up their storefront. Technical Consulting & Audits: Store performance reviews, app stack optimization, and strategic guidance on scaling your technical infrastructure. Automation & Workflows: Shopify Flow implementations, inventory systems, order routing, and multi-location logic that eliminate manual work. Training & Mentorship: Hands-on guidance for in-house teams learning to manage Shopify more effectively. How we work: Daulet handles all custom and public app development — the deep technical builds that require serious engineering. I handle client strategy, audits, consultations, store builds, and anything client-facing. This division means you get both: a developer who can actually build what you need, and a consultant who understands your business well enough to recommend the right solution. We work with brands that are either: Scaling quickly and need technical infrastructure that won't break under pressure Stuck with a Shopify setup that's actively holding back growth Tired of developers who disappear after delivery or agencies that can't execute custom work Our approach is different: We don't "sell" packages or push unnecessary apps. We diagnose what's actually broken, scope solutions honestly, and build things that last. No fluff, no vendor lock-in, no recurring retainers unless the work genuinely requires it. ShopiCraft is a boutique agency — which means you're working directly with the people who'll build your solution, not account managers reading from scripts. We focus on finding the most efficient, creative solutions to your specific pain points. If your developer ghosted you, your agency said "that's not possible," or you're pretty sure your store could do more but don't know where to start — that's exactly what we're here for. We're based in Dublin and Kazakhstan, working with Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants globally. Let's fix what's broken and build what's missing. 🔧
Who's on the Polish list: strong on build, light on design
Eight agencies, five freelancers. For a defined job on a Polish store, a solo developer is a sensible first call, and there are five to choose from. Agencies still suit launches with several moving parts.
Build skills lead. Store Setup & Management (12) and Shopify Development (10) top the list, followed by Marketing & Growth and Consulting & Strategy at 8 each. Developers outnumber designers more than three to one on the Polish list: Design, UX & Branding appears on 3 profiles, and Copywriting & Content and Finance, Taxes & Compliance on 1 each.
What that means for a project. A Polish team can build and configure your store well. A strong brand identity or a full set of product copy may need a second supplier, so plan that split before the build starts rather than discovering it halfway through.
English on every profile, Polish on most. All 13 list English and 10 list Polish. Spanish appears twice, Portuguese and French once each. With one copywriter on the list, ask who will write your Polish product copy before you sign anything.
Warsaw first. Warsaw is the city named most often, followed by Kraków, Rzeszów and Poznań. If you'd rather meet before signing, that's where to look.
How the listing is arranged. Poland-based experts come first. Below them the list widens to experts in other countries who work with European stores. That second group is where to find design and copy capacity.
BLIK at home, design from further afield
Keep payments and tax local. BLIK and Przelewy24 at checkout, zloty payouts and Polish VAT settings are easiest with someone who has configured them for other stores in Poland. Ask which Polish stores they've set BLIK up for, then try those checkouts on your own phone.
Look wider for design and copy. With three designers and one copywriter among the local profiles, a brand-led project will usually need help from further down the listing. A European designer can work from Polish copy written by someone else; just agree who owns which part.
Choose agency or freelancer by scope. Hire an agency for a launch with several workstreams running at once. Hire a freelancer for a defined fix or a monthly block of small jobs. Five of the 13 local experts work as freelancers, so either route is open without leaving Poland.
Test before you commit. Pay for one small job first. Give a shortlisted agency a Poland-specific task, such as adding BLIK and Przelewy24 to a live checkout, and watch how it scopes, communicates and documents the change. A careful one asks what else touches your checkout before changing anything.
Setting up a Polish Shopify store: zloty, BLIK and VAT
Zloty or euro payouts. Stores based in Poland get Shopify Payments, and Shopify's payout page for Poland offers payouts in Polish zloty (PLN) or euro (EUR). Decide which one your bank account and bookkeeping expect, and have your expert set it up that way before the first order.
BLIK and Przelewy24. Shopify's documentation lists both as local payment methods for Polish stores through Shopify Payments. A good expert switches them on, checks how they look on a phone at checkout, and pushes a test payment through each.
POS hardware. Poland isn't on the shipping list for Shopify's hardware store. Shopify's answer is to buy compatible POS devices from independent retailers. Agree a hardware list with your expert before buying anything.
VAT. A Polish store opened today runs on Shopify Tax or Manual Tax. Basic Tax only remains for a store whose EU tax settings date from before 13 May 2026. Selling into other EU markets via Union OSS points you to Shopify Tax, since OSS and Manual Tax don't mix. Returns and payments to the tax office stay with your accountant; Shopify doesn't file or remit.
Polish for staff and shoppers. Both the admin and the checkout support Polish, so staff who don't work in English can run orders day to day, and customers pay in their own language.

Questions about hiring Shopify developers and agencies in Poland
Probably not, if you sell mainly in Poland from one store. Plus is a larger plan for larger operations, and most Polish stores get more from a well-built standard store with BLIK, Przelewy24 and VAT set up properly. If you're already on Plus, ask each agency for Plus stores it has run after launch, not just built.
Match the contract to your payout currency. Shopify Payments can pay a Polish store in zloty or euro, so if your payouts arrive in zloty, a zloty contract keeps costs predictable; a contract in another currency adds exchange risk to every invoice. Whichever you choose, fix the rate, the payment schedule and what counts as done in writing.
Ask for two stores they built and test each on your phone: speed, search, filters and checkout. Then ask what custom code they wrote, where it lives and how they'd hand it over if you parted ways. A developer who can explain that plainly, in English or Polish, usually writes code someone else can maintain.
Yes, if they've done one before. Twelve of the 13 Polish profiles list Store Setup & Management, but a migration is its own skill, so ask for one they've completed, how they mapped old URLs to new ones, and how they moved customer accounts and order history. Insist on a test import before the cut-over date, and keep the old store running until the new one has taken real orders.
Usually, yes. BLIK and Przelewy24 run through Shopify Payments, so on a store that already uses it, adding them is a settings job rather than a theme project. The real work is testing: a payment through each method on a phone, a refund, and a check that both show up correctly in your payouts. A good expert quotes this as a small fixed-price job.
