Find the Best Shopify Experts in Finland
A Finnish Shopify store has two quirks worth planning for. The admin and checkout run in both Finnish and Swedish, and Tap to Pay works on Android phones but not on iPhone.
Five agencies make up the Shopify experts in Finland on shopexperts as of October 2026, in Helsinki, Kuopio and Vaasa. Design, consulting, marketing, development and store setup each appear on four of the five profiles, which makes this a generalist bench rather than a set of specialists.
Payouts in euros and MobilePay support keep the payment side mostly a matter of configuration. The judgement calls are language, tax and in-store hardware. Two agencies list Finnish and two list Swedish, so check the language line on each profile below before you request a quote.

A passionate and results-driven freelance Shopify Systems Engineer with over 8 years of expertise in designing and optimizing ecommerce solutions for high-growth brands. Specializing in developing and scaling custom Shopify themes, apps, and headless setups, I bring a strong blend of technical depth and business impact awareness. Proficient in integrating complex systems like Shopify APIs, webhooks, and ERP solutions, while optimizing checkout, subscription flows, and revenue-critical logic. With a focus on performance optimization, SEO, and conversion rates, I’ve helped clients increase AOV, reduce churn, and drive growth. Adept at using AI tools to accelerate development and streamline merchant operations, I provide end-to-end solutions that bridge the gap between technical execution and business goals. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I deliver high-impact solutions that ensure both technical reliability and measurable revenue improvement.
I help Shopify and Shopify Plus brands increase revenue by fixing the highest-leverage parts of the funnel. Product pages, cart experience, checkout flow (within platform limits), site speed, and UX. Why clients work with me: I’m not “design-only” or “dev-only.” I combine CRO analysis, UI/UX design, and performance-first implementation - so changes aren’t just “prettier.” They ship cleanly, load fast, and can be measured in GA4. My approach: Audit → prioritized roadmap → implementation → measurement Core services: CRO & UX audits (GA4 funnels, heatmaps, session recordings) PDP/collection/cart optimization (conversion + theme architecture) Speed & Core Web Vitals improvements (render-blocking cleanup, image strategy, JS reduction) Custom theme development (Figma → Shopify, modular Liquid/JSON) Shopify migrations (staged rollout, SEO preservation, QA + rollback plan) Technical stack: Shopify/Shopify Plus, Liquid, Hydrogen, JavaScript (ES6+), GA4, A/B testing tools, Figma. No page-builder bloat. No app stacking. No fragile workarounds - just clean code your team can maintain. Send your store URL + goals — I’ll reply with the highest-impact opportunities and the key risks to address first.

I help DTC brands ($5M-$100M) break through growth plateaus by diagnosing what's limiting scale - usually they're driving traffic that doesn't convert, customer experience has friction, or teams are misaligned - then building the execution discipline to make growth predictable.
Five Finnish agencies with a generalist streak
Finland's list is small and even. All five profiles are agencies. Five service areas each appear on four of them: design, UX and branding; consulting and strategy; marketing and growth; Shopify development; and store setup and management. Two profiles list copywriting, and two list finance, taxes and compliance.
An even list makes the choice harder, not easier. When everyone offers the same categories, ask each agency what it has shipped most recently for a store like yours, and who on its team did the work. Portfolios will separate them faster than service lists will.
Language is the other filter. All five list English. Two list Finnish, two list Swedish and one lists Norwegian. Shopify won't hold you back in either language, so the question is whether your agency can write product pages and emails the way your customers expect to read them. For a bilingual store, check both languages, not just one.
Helsinki is the city named most often, with Kuopio and Vaasa on the other profiles. Proximity helps if your shop needs a visit when the tills go in, and barely registers for anything online.
The listing below starts with the five experts based in Finland. Beyond those five, the page lists experts from elsewhere who cover the European market, which is where you'll find more choice if your project needs a specialist rather than a generalist.
Finnish-language work at home, specialists from further afield
Local wins on bilingual content. If your store needs Finnish and Swedish copy that reads naturally in both, start with the local agencies that list those languages. Copy written in Finnish almost always reads better than copy translated into it.
Regional can win on specialism. With a generalist local bench, a narrow need such as a subscription model, a complex B2B catalogue or heavy tax work may be better served by a specialist from the non-Finnish part of the list.
Euro quotes compare cleanly. Your payouts arrive in euros. A quote in euros, whether from a Finnish agency or one elsewhere in Europe, can be weighed directly against your revenue with no exchange-rate guesswork.
Make the pilot a language test. Commission one paid job before the full build: a single product page written in both Finnish and Swedish, or a collection page rebuild. You'll learn how the team writes, scopes and hands over, and whether its Finnish holds up.
Whichever route you take, have the Finnish and Swedish versions signed off by separate native readers before launch.
Euros, MobilePay and Android-only Tap to Pay
Payouts in euros. Finland-based stores have Shopify Payments, which sends payouts in euros (EUR). MobilePay is among the local methods Shopify's documentation names for Finnish stores on Shopify Payments, so your expert should enable it and run a live test order before launch.
In-store: check your phones. Shopify sells POS hardware directly to Finnish merchants through its hardware store. Tap to Pay also works with Shopify POS here, but on Android only, not iPhone, and it needs Shopify Payments. If your staff carry iPhones, plan on card readers from the hardware store instead.
VAT. Finland charges EU VAT. Finnish stores can use Shopify Tax, or Manual Tax if they'd rather keep rates current themselves. OSS reporting for consumer sales elsewhere in the EU runs only on Shopify Tax or Basic Tax. A Finnish store opening today won't qualify for Basic Tax, which is limited to stores that started EU tax collection before 13 May 2026.
Filing and payment remain with your business and its accountant; Shopify's part ends at calculating the tax on each order.
Two languages, one store. The Shopify admin supports both Finnish and Swedish, and so does checkout. A bilingual store is a platform setting. The effort lies in writing and maintaining every product page, policy and email twice.
Where the five Finnish profiles overlap
Five categories each appear on four of the five Finnish profiles. Where they differ is writing and tax.
Store setup and management
Four of the five Finnish agencies list it
Shopify development
4 of 5, from theme builds to integrations
Marketing and growth
4 of 5, so launch campaigns can stay with a local team
Consulting and strategy
4 of 5, worth using before a bilingual build
Design, UX and branding
4 of 5, so a design-led build needn't leave the local list
Copywriting, finance and tax
Copywriting and content on 2; finance, taxes and compliance on 2
Finnish, Swedish or both: questions from Finnish merchants
When the job is small and technical. All five Finland-based profiles are agencies, which suits a full build or a bilingual relaunch. For a theme fix or an integration, a freelancer from the wider European list can be quicker and cheaper to engage. Keep the Finnish-language work with whoever can show live Finnish copy they've written, whatever their size.
No. One Shopify store can serve both languages. The decisions are practical: which language is the default, who writes the second one, and how you'll keep prices, promotions and legal pages in step across both. Agree those rules with your agency before the build, or the second language quietly falls behind after launch.
Usually, yes, but the extra cost sits in writing rather than development, because switching on a second language is a setting. This page doesn't publish a Finnish price range, so ask each agency to price the second language as its own line, including who writes it and who updates it after launch. That shows whether the Swedish version earns its keep in year one.
Start with the languages on the profiles: two Finnish agencies list Swedish and one lists Norwegian. Ask for a live store they run in your target country and look at how they handled currency and delivery options there. Expansion projects tend to stall on translated content and customer service in the new language, not on Shopify settings, so ask who will answer customer emails.
Two of the five Finnish profiles list finance, taxes and compliance, so start there if OSS registration or VAT across several EU countries is in scope. Ask exactly what they will configure in Shopify and what they expect your accountant to own. Agree in writing where their work stops, because tax gaps tend to surface months after launch.
